Try the following steps to fix the trouble.

1. Login to Windows with an account that has administrator privileges.

2. Go to Run or press  Windows key + R.

3. Type there gpedit.msc and click OK.

4. The Local Group Policy Editor shows up. Go to the following location:

If you are Using Windows 7/Vista

  • Computer Configuration
  • Administrative Templates
  • System
  • Removable Storage Access

Ensure that Removable Disks: Deny write access is set to Not configured or Disabled.

5. Reboot the pc and try to synchronize your system again.
